DRIVE

Limitation of Liability & Insurance Disclaimer

Last updated: June 8, 2026

DRIVE is a peer-to-peer software platform and vehicle-sharing marketplace. DRIVE is not an insurance provider, broker, or underwriter. DRIVE does not provide, endorse, or offer any automobile insurance, physical damage protection, or liability coverage for vehicles, hosts, or guests.

By utilizing this platform, all users explicitly acknowledge and agree that the arrangement, verification, and maintenance of legally compliant automobile insurance coverage — including but not limited to statutory liability, comprehensive, collision, and personal injury protection — is the sole, exclusive responsibility of the individual Host and Guest.

DRIVE disclaims any and all liability for property damage, personal injury, legal non-compliance, or financial loss arising from the rental, operation, or use of vehicles listed on the platform.

Host Responsibilities

Hosts must independently maintain valid automobile insurance covering their vehicle for the intended peer-to-peer rental use, and must verify that their policy permits such use. DRIVE does not verify, supplement, or replace any host coverage.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests must independently verify that their personal automobile insurance policy — or an independently acquired policy — provides valid coverage for the operation of a peer-to-peer rental vehicle. DRIVE does not provide any insurance, waiver, or protection plan to guests.

No Coverage Provided

No statement, page, message, or feature within the DRIVE platform shall be interpreted as an offer of insurance, indemnity, or coverage of any kind. All risks of loss, damage, injury, fines, citations, towing, and legal action are assumed by the Host and Guest parties to each rental transaction.
